Remote Control Airplanes is a Exhilarating Hobby

The hobby of remote control flying has exploded in popularity in recent years, and ther's never been a better time to get started.  It's a hobby that's enjoyed by  young and old alike, is reqarding, exhilarating, educational and addictive.

Remote Control aircraft are small aircraft that can be controlled remotely. There are many different types, ranging from small park flyers to large jets and mid-sized aerobatic models. The aircraft use many different methods of propulsion, ranging from brushed or brushless with gas turbines, can reach speeds of up to 250 mph (400km/h).  Newer jets can achieve above 300mph (480kmh) in a short distance.

Remote Controlled tanks are replicas of armoured fighting vehicles that can move, rotate the turret and come even shoot all by using the hand-held transmitter.  Radio controlled tanks come generally in commercial offerings in  1/35th scale.  Probably the best known make in this scale is by Tamiya.  The cost is about $80. 1/24th scale often includes a mounted Airsoftgun, the possibly the offering is by TokyoMauri, but there are imitations by Heng Long, who offer cheap remakes of the tanks.  The cost is approximately $50  Their is also the 1/16th scale which is more intimidating.  The only real downside to the person who has not the largest budget is that these tanks can cost anywhere from $750 up.  These tanks  come from ready to run to a full assembly kit.

In a more private offerings there are 1/6th and 1/4th scale vehicles available.  The largest Remote Control Tank available any where in the world is the King tiger in 1/4th scale, made by mark 1 tanks in England at over 8 foot long.   The pricing is very high.
