If you like covered bridges Bucks County, Pennsylvania is the place to go. Pennsylvania had more than 1,500 covered bridges and was home to the first covered bridge in the United States in Philadelphia. Backpacking in Colorado can be a sport to remember. You must be prepared to the renowned natural beauty and outdoor recreation. Backpacking in the National Forest or National Park is an excellent way to experience Colorado.

Colorado has the highest mean altitude of all the United States which means that at some point on a trip you could experience symptons of altitude sickness, also known as Acute Mountain Sickness or AMS.
My family took a trip to Colorado a few years back and my husband stayed in bed half of the time due to the high altitude and one of the grand children was in bed for a couple of days.
